We all know the importance of drinking water, but many of us – around 90% - struggle to manage the recommended 2 litres a day. And on top of this we have to drink even more if we lead an active lifestyle. But did you know that even during daily activities, like driving, sleeping and shopping we will loose fluid which will need to be replaced to avoid getting dehydrated.

Check out these shocking figures on how much liquid we loose, for these normal, every day activities.
• Sleeping – 1 – 2 litres overnight
• Driving a car – 300ml per hour
• Sitting in an air-conditioned office – as much as 750ml per hour
And even:
• Having sex – 500ml!!

So this Valentines Day, no doubt many of us will be tempted by the idea of enjoying an indulgent romantic dinner (oysters, champagne, chocolate fondue) and sharing a box of chocolates, but don’t forget to rehydrate if you’re thinking of taking the “second course” upstairs!

And for an easy way to rehydrate your body effectively, and something a bit more sexier then water, how about a fruity drink bursting with flavour from The Juice Doctor? They come in three tempting flavours; aphrodisiac apple, lush lemon and tantalisingly tropical. The Juice Doctor drinks are ideal for bridging the gap between fruit juice and water – containing the natural taste of juice and the hydrating qualities of water.
