Stem Ginger Crumbly Fudge is the newest confection to come spilling out of the kitchen at Burnt Sugar...

Caramel has always formed the soft centre of the company but this time the latest addition to the company’s delicious crumbly fudge selection comes with a warm after-glow that is reminiscent of freshly made gingerbread.

The arrival of new Stem Ginger Crumbly Fudge coincides with new-look 110g packs for the entire range. Each pack features the company name apparently written in sticky caramel, an idea that made a big mess when the Burnt Sugar team experimented with early prototype designs.

Other very recent additions to the range are the smashingly malleable ‘Squidgy Toffees’, ‘Chewy Caramels’ – appropriately dipped in splendid dark chocolate - and ‘Fluffy Nougat’, sweeties so peculiarly delicious that they defy description.

All of Burnt Sugar’s confections are made using Fairtrade sugar, most of which comes from the Kasinthula farming co-operative in Malawi. Burnt Sugar’s founder Justine has been out to meet some of the farmers in East Africa and sweet-lovers can find out more at www. burntsugar.co.uk.

FREE PACKS TO REWARD RANDOM ACTS OF SWEETNESS
The Burnt Sugar team would really like to see this great country of ours show off its soft centre. Using the power of the company’s feel-good confectionery, Burnt Sugar is aiming to fuel the nation’s good-doers with its Random Acts of Sweetness campaign.

Inside randomly selected packs of Burnt Sugar will be a voucher for a free pack but the Burnt Sugar team hopes that you’ll resist eating scoffing it. The aim instead is to give it away to a complete stranger for doing something nice (holding a door, sharing a brolly on a rainy day, carrying a heavy bag up some steps, etc.).

As part of the campaign, the Burnt Sugar website will highlight some great Random Acts that fudge fans across the world have been performing and will also give visitors that chance to nominate someone that deserves a special sweet treat direct from Burnt Sugar.

Go shopping for the smashing new packs of Burnt Sugar at Waitrose, Oxfam,

House of Fraser, Booths and Harvey Nichols, good delicatessens and fine food stores across the land. Selected stores of Tesco, Budgens, Moto and National Trust are also proud to sell Burnt Sugar’s boxes of deliciousness. Priced from £1.99 for 110g.
