Our competition winner, Ben Polhill, 30, a community sports coach from Chichester, is super-handy with a dishcloth and couldn’t be a more lovely, photogenic man.
Becky says, “We have nine-month-old twin girls – imagine dealing with that as well as trying to keep the house clean! It’s been crazy for both of us learning how to be parents, but Ben’s been an absolute dream with helping out – he happily does the cleaning so I can get a few minutes of quality time to myself. Still, I’m not surprised – Ben has always helped to keep our home impeccable. We’re lucky girls to have him in our lives.” Ben and Becky are a modern couple and work together to keep their home sparkling clean – Ben’s even going part-time in his work with youths in the community when Becky returns to her teaching so that they can share parenting responsibilities.
We’ve all read depressing stories of Britain’s lazy husbands, but Ben helps get the tough jobs done fast so his family has time to enjoy being together.
The Polhills weren’t going to be able to take a holiday next year until they won this contest – the prize is a £1500 fund with Thomas Cook.
