Junior World Championships Launch, Tuesday 22nd April 2008, 11am, Brighton

The World Championships will take place at Nivea Sun Yellowave on Brighton sea front from 3rd – 7th September 2008, marking the first time that Britain has ever hosted a Beach Volleyball World Championship event.
The launch will be an opportunity to see the venue, which will not only host the first World Championships event of London Olympiad, but also host training camps in the lead up to 2012.

Athletes will come from all over the world to compete in Britain, bringing a splash of colour and glamour to Brighton and Hove. Beach Volleyball has been an Olympic sport since 1996.
